When producing our barefoot collection, we only use vegetable-tanned leather. POLOLO barefoot shoes are particularly breathable, skin-friendly, soft and allergy-friendly.
“Barefoot” models as indoor and outdoor versions
The new “Barefoot” collection from POLOLO is designed for outdoors and the special requirements of kindergarten with a TPR sole or as a slipper version with a leather sole. The toe area is cut straight at the big toe and therefore offers a lot Space for the toes.
Like a second skin – certified, vegetable-tanned natural leather
Manufactured with love for craftsmanship from certified, vegetable-tanned natural leather (tested for harmful substances), meaning chrome leather and leather that has been tanned with other heavy metals are deliberately avoided. No chemical preservatives are used in POLOLO leather. The dyes for leather coloring must be free of AOX (so-called adsorbable organically bound halogens) and heavy metals. Also, they are leather uncoated. POLOLO barefoot shoes are particularly breathable, skin-friendly, soft and allergy-friendly.
