When producing our barefoot collection, we only use vegetable-tanned leather. POLOLO barefoot shoes are particularly breathable, skin-friendly, soft and allergy-friendly.
“Barefoot” models as indoor and outdoor versions
The new “Barefoot” collection from POLOLO is designed for outdoor use as well as the specific requirements of kindergarten, featuring a TPR sole or a leather sole as a house shoe option. The toe area is cut straight at the big toe, providing plenty of room for the toes.
Like a second skin – certified, vegetable-tanned natural leather
Crafted with meticulous attention to detail from certified, vegetable-tanned natural leather (tested for harmful substances), meaning that chrome-tanned leather and leathers tanned with other heavy metals are consciously avoided. No chemical preservatives are used in POLOLO leather. The dyes used for coloring the leather must be free of AOX (so-called adsorbable organically bound halogens) and heavy metals. Furthermore, the leather is uncoated . POLOLO barefoot shoes are exceptionally breathable, skin-friendly, soft, and suitable for allergy sufferers.
