Barefoot slippers vegan
This POLOLO slipper is a light, comfortable barefoot shoe that keeps little feet cozy and warm. The toe box is ergonomically wide. The shoe can be opened wide so that even small, wide, cuddly feet can easily fit into the shoe. Since our slippers are punched from motif templates, the designs can vary and are always somewhat individual. Where the unicorn, plant and flowers sit on the shoe may vary depending on the model and therefore does not correspond 100% to the photo template.Sole
The flexible and non-slip minimal sole made of synthetic rubber is super flexible and ensures that the child stands well on the floor. The slippers have a removable insole.Wide entry fit even for wide, small feet
The fit can be easily adjusted with the adjustable Velcro fastener, which also ensures that the child can put the shoes on and take them off themselves. This model has a large, comfortable entry and can be opened very wide. This model is therefore ideal for small, cuddly feet that also have a bit of baby fat on their insteps. A slipper or baby shoe with an elastic band is often too tight here. Smaller children often cannot stretch their toes like this.Care

The SEAQUAL INITIATIVE inspired us to create our colorful children's shoe collection made from upcycled marine plastic. Unfortunately, millions of tons of garbage still end up in our oceans every year. Thanks to the commitment of the SEAQUAL INITIATIVE, plastic waste is collected by partner fishermen from the sea, land initiatives and volunteers off the North African and Spanish coasts and then processed into SEAQUAL® YARN. Every kilogram of SEAQUAL® YARN produced corresponds to one kilogram of waste. The material consists of 10% marine plastic (collected on beaches, in the sea, on rivers) which is mechanically processed and recycled, and 90% recycled post-consumer plastic. The goal is a clean sea and a clean environment. The partner network starts with the fishing boats and extends to spinning mills, weaving mills and brands that are committed to the goal of ridding the sea of waste and producing ecologically compatible yarns, fibers and fabrics. We usually avoid using polyester, but we were fundamentally convinced by this system and the quality of the materials. SEAQUAL® YARN has the same properties as fibers made from conventional polyester, but is superior from an ecological point of view.We deliver these slippers unpackaged
We try to avoid packaging for our shoes as much as possible. We don’t use plastic packaging at all. In our opinion, the goal should be to avoid useless packaging and plastic. That's why we completely do without outer packaging for this model. It is tied in pairs with a beautiful cord. No shoebox, no bag, no plastic.Additional information
Fit of children's shoes
The human foot takes approximately 18 years to fully develop. Of course, it grows fastest in the beginning. Therefore, you parents should check the fit of your children's shoes every 3-4 months. For POLOLO street shoes, we have always developed removable soles - as far as this was possible for the respective style. On the one hand, you can easily replace a sole (e.g. add a wool sole for the winter) and you can use it to measure the foot length and fit very well. If the imprint of the big toe is already dangerously far forward, then your child has already grown again and is due for the next shoe size. Our soles are all very flexible, especially our Barefoot collection.
POLOLO pursues the highest ecological standards
When producing our POLOLOs in Spain, we pay great attention to ecological, pollutant-free materials and workmanship throughout the entire production chain. We only use German natural leather that is vegetable tanned and certified, organic quality cotton (organic / kbA) and wool from controlled organic animal husbandry (organic / kbT). POLOLOs are allergy-friendly and therefore our leathers are naturally chrome-free.
