At the International Trade Fair for Natural Textiles and Clothing (InNaTex) in the MESSECENTER RHEIN-MAIN at Hofheim am Taunus in Hesse, POLOLO exhibited for the first time on a joint stand with three fellow companies from July 29th to 31st, 2023. This cooperation, which has been tried and tested for years, was thus raised to a new level – the proven partners, disana, HIRSCH NATUR, PICKAPOOH and POLOLO, share basic ecological values. The open stand design enabled a lively exchange with each other and with the specialist retailers in a familiar atmosphere. Franziska Kuntze: “It was a fruitful and very nice cooperation!” POLOLO had a lot of time to devot on all three days to meet the interested enquiries of stand visitors, especially about barefoot models and vegan material alternatives.
POLOLO presence at InNaTex at the start of the season
POLOLO has been present at InNaTex for years, because in addition to the classic clothing sector, other sustainable product groups are also exclusively presented there to the specialised trade: This trade fair, which has been held twice a year since 1997, in winter and summer close to Frankfurt/Main in Hesse, is the central sales and communication platform for POLOLO shoes to address retailers directly in the heart of Europe.
POLOLO since 2003 – an established brand at InNaTex
InNaTex offers trade visitors over 250 Green Fashion labels, both established and start-up brands. Visitors to the fair can take advantage of a free shuttle service from Frankfurt/Main Airport or parking facilities at the exhibition grounds. In addition, connections to the regional public transport system make it easier to get to and from the compound. At the fair, there will be the opportunity to make contact with the patron of the fair, the International Association of the Natural Textile Industry (IVN), whose chairperson is Franziska Kuntze, and with other standard-setting organisations as well as numerous cooperation partners.
Conclusion: Increasing interest in POLOLO barefoot shoes and vegan models
The synergetic community with disana (wool felt children’s clothing), HIRSCH NATUR (socks for children and adults) as well as PICKAPOOH (children’s hats) on the new stand has paid off: The new POLOLO collection enjoyed lively interest over all three days of the fair. There is clearly an increased demand for barefoot models – both outdoor and indoor shoes. Interest in vegan material alternatives to animal leather is also growing.
